Erik Sorenson - Chairman
Erik Sorenson has won more than twenty Emmy awards as a writer, producer, and television executive. After a remarkable career as a television news producer at CBS News and the CBS stations group, he went on to serve as president of MSNBC for six years, supervising a staff of more than 500 employees. He has produced or executive produced programs hosted by Katie Couric, Dan Rather, Chris Matthews, Brian Williams, Tom Brokaw, Phil Donahue, and Keith Olberman. He is widely regarded as an expert on media strategy and industry trends with both creative and corporate skills and a balanced, rational perspective. His experience spans radio, local, and network broadcast television, cable and syndicated TV, and the internet.
Robert J. Grossman - CEO, Executive Media Consultant
Robert J. Grossman is a veteran television producer with a resume that includes CNN's Larry King Live, MSNBC's Countdown with Keith Olberman, MSNBC's acclaimed war coverage, MSNBC's Donahue Live, ABC's Good Morning America, MTV, and ESPN. He also spent 5 years in syndication with Warner Bros/Telepictures, Columbia Tri Star, and All-American Television. He also served as executive producer in the launch of a talk radio station in Washington DC which still broadcasts today. He began his career in New York City in 1995.
Margaret Hoover - Director of Business Development
Margaret Hoover is a veteran of two Presidential campaigns and recently served as Deputy Finance Director to Rudy Giuliani's Presidential Exploratory Committee. She held a White House appointment in the Bush Administration and also served as a senior advisor to the Deputy Secretary at the Department of Homeland Security. Prior to that, she was the Press Secretary to Florida Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart on Capital Hill. Ms. Hoover is a member of the Board of Overseers for the Hoover Institution and the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library. Having lived and worked in Taiwan, Bolivia, Mexico, and China, she speaks Spanish fluently and is a continuing student of Mandarin Chinese.
Brandon Gaudin - Chief Operating Officer
Before assisting in the formation of MediaOne, Brandon was a play-by-play broadcaster in the Los Angeles Angels organization and a talent producer for ESPN. In 2005, he was selected from thousands of national participants as the “CBS & Pontiac ‘You Call the Action’” broadcasting winner. His play-by-play skills were profiled on CBS in front of 25 million viewers at halftime of the Men’s NCAA championship basketball game. A double major and double minor at Butler University, he was named "Most Outstanding Communications Student" and one of the "Top 10 Male students" in his graduating class. Only two years out of college, he has already appeared nationally on Fox News, CNN, and CNN Headline News in conjunction with his position at MediaOne.
Andrew Pflugbeil - Technical Director
A product of Syracuse University, Andrew Pflugbeil began his technical career with ESPN’s Quite Frankly with Stephen A. Smith in New York City. Following that stint, he served as Development Associate with Triple Threat Television where he assisted in the formation of various television pilots for the likes of MTV and A&E. He then became the Technical Director for the New York Yankee’s Minor League affiliate in Staten Island before landing at MediaOne. While still in college, Andrew worked as a Producer and Video Editor for the Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, the Syracuse Sky Chiefs.
